Biden, who talked in the White House, contained a sentence in his comments commending Egyptian officers because of their”critical function” in stopping the fighting. But he emphasized the intensive job he explained was completed by his own government.
“Over the past 11 days, I talked with the prime minister six times. Biden pledged to assist Israel replenish its Iron Dome platform and also to operate together with the Palestinian Authority to rebuild Gaza.
Biden said he had talked with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the cease-fire and emailed him on his choice to bring hostilities to a close.
Biden said the prime minister had shared his admiration for its Iron Dome system, Israel’s missile defense which was built with assistance from the U.S. Biden said the machine”has saved the lives of numerous Israeli citizens, Arab and Jew.
