The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, has sent to the President of the people’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, in a message to attest to the closeness of the Italian State to China in about the dissemination of coronavirus, and the willingness to offer all possible assistance.
“I am following with keen attention the developments of the health situation which has arisen as a result of the spread of the coronavirus 2019 nCoV – the letter reads – I would like to convey the expressions of the most sincere closeness and solidarity of the italians, and my personal vis-à-vis friend of the chinese people”.
