Dagbladet, has for several articles portrayed it as that I support the statement that Erna Solberg is a landssviker. This is based on the quotes I have given that was not meant specifically for that matter, but just as much against that I even was called landssviker and that I don’t take it so heavy. Quotes taken out of context can be used for so many things, but the most serious is that the Newspaper in its editorial of 18. December set forth by the claims, which is completely wrong.
the Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet writes that Siv Jensen has taken a settlement with netthets, but that I do not have the ability to do the same. The truth is that I completely agree with Reed, and took a settlement with this several days before the Reeds. I have in a long time spent a lot of time berating people who go over the line in the comments. Shortly after the statement I wrote the following comment in a thread at Agderposten where those involved discussed the matter:
” … to call Erna or other politicians for landssvikere or the like, is completely useriøst, false, kunnskapsløst and bad manners. This has nothing with treason to do, but an ordinary political disagreement. All parties in Parliament to work for Norway’s best from their point of view, but we are often totally disagree in the way there. Political disagreement, we handle with the factual debate, where we also show respect for each other, not in such a disgraceful way. The debate must certainly be tough, but it should not be ufin.”
Furthermore, let I print this status update on Saturday, 15. December:
“In the past there has been a lot of tough debate on the important issues. We are going to have tough debates, but they should also be characterized by respect. From both sides, it has hail with ufine and false claims, especially in social media.
One is not racist if you want a strict immigration policy! One is not landssviker if you have a different opinion of a political document. One of the value I value most in our society, is the respect politicians have for each other, in spite of great political disagreements.”
When Siv Jensen let out his status update a few days later, I shared it, and the expression my full support.
This is not good enough for the Newspaper. About Dagbladet wrote this against better knowing, or if they did not took the effort to check first, I do not know. But both are nevertheless equally disturbing. The reason why it happened is still apparent for me, it’s more interesting for them to brunbeise FrP, than to convey a correct picture of the situation.
the Next time you read in the Newspaper that I support landssviker statements and other usakligheter, so you know that it’s just nonsense. In the Newspaper is sverling of the FrP is more important than the truth.
