In the test, developed by researchers at the university of Copenhagen, are the parents facing six child-related dilemmas with three different answers. One of the issues is, for example, on what to say to a sad child who wants mommy and daddy to continue to be together. After the parents responded to how they would act in the situation gives the test feedback and recommendations.

The mandatory skilsmässotestet is a part of a new skilsmässolag which was adopted by the Danish parliament last year and which will enter into force on 1 april. The new law also means a three-month-long period of reflection for couples with children who want to be separated.
