Mitch McConnell, the Republican majority leader in the u.s. senate, says he will vote for a proposal that makes it more difficult to shut down the federal government. Something that has proved very costly both for individual americans and for the country at large.
On Tuesday, told McConnell that he supports a proposal that goes across party lines and will make it much harder to shut down the federal government.
“I’m absolutely open to it,” he told Reuters.
