“We are very excited to finally be able to meet a large demand that Ikea will open in New Zealand,” writes Tolga Öncü at the Ingka Group, which is Ikea’s largest franchisee, in a press release.
Öncü also announced that the group is striving to make the Ikea in New Zealand ”fully available”, with both department stores and e-commerce.
Right now, there are just over 420 Ikeavaruhus on over 50 different markets worldwide, including 20 stores in Sweden.
According to the press release should tell more about the establishment in New Zealand in the beginning of 2019.
