In a debate article in DN Debate launches the previous miljöpartistiske member of parliament, Carl Schlyter, along with several other of the new political party with the name of the Party turning point.
Schlyter writes that today’s established parties have ”failed to respond to the societal challenges that we now look to grow”. Among other things, they want the party with a new plan to make Sweden zero carbon by the year 2030, and implement a skatteomläggning where a ”larger share of the taxes from environmentally damaging activities, capital income and large assets”.
as Carl Schlyter, Valter Mutt and Annika Lillemets left the Party in protest against the party’s agreement with the social democrats, the Centre party and the Liberals. In his criticism, said Schlyter that the parties tried the ”stop the worst instead of the best”.
Valter Mutt sitting in the Lot vändpunkts national executive and says that he is one of the initiators of the new party.
” We have for several years met very much reactions in Sweden. It needed a new force to start talking about an economic system that is not driven by constant growth, ” says Valter Mutt.

” We are not enemies but we have not gained a hearing for our ideas.
– in particular we think that the so-called red-green government will be forced to implement neoliberal policies. Something that will push on the social inequalities in Sweden and will benefit SD. There must be an opposition to the government, an opposition which is for a fairer Sweden.
Marléne Tamlin comment on the new party in a text message to dagens nyheter:
”of Course I had at any time seen that all the green forces were able to unite in the Greens. But now when Carl, Annika and Valter found a different path for their commitment, I respect it. The same applies to all others who are committed to a better Sweden, each in their own way”.
