Science & planet Canadian researchers have discovered the largest tyrannosaurus rex in the world. The giant dino with a length of thirteen meters was the name Scotty. That is, in the scientific journal “The Anatomical Record”.

Paleontologists discovered remains of the largest tyrannosaurus rex ever in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Dinosaur Scotty, that’s approximately 66 million years ago, was around 13 metres long and weighed a whopping 8.800 kg.

“This is the rex of rexen,” says the Canadian researcher Scott Persons. “There are significant differences between tyrannosaurussen. Some individuals were sharper than others. Scotty is an example of such a sharply instance. Careful measurements of the legs, hips and even shoulders indicate that Scotty was longer than any other tyrannosaurus rex (which to date has been found, red.) .” the

The previous record-holder was Sue, a tyrannosaurus rex with a length of 12.3 metres. This dino weighed approximately 5.654 kilogram.
