45 athletes representing ten countries will be participating in the XIII Al Andalus Ultimate Trail.

The Al Andalus Ultimate Trail 2022, which will take runners through the Alhama area, will be held from July 4-8 inclusive. The 234 km route will be divided into 5 stages. Runners will need to conquer steep slopes, technical trails, and extreme heat. The organizers also highlighted the fact that the route covers more than 90% off-road, and includes sections on mountainous trails. They add that the race is challenging and offers the chance to enjoy local culture at the end. This edition features 45 runners from ten nations: Canada, Belgium, Germany, Austria and Portugal. 30% of them are women. Half of them have run before.
