CN Churriana won the Territorial Championships for clubs again. This time, it was in the junior which was combined with the absolute tests. They finished in fourth, 32 points behind third-class Navial de Cordoba. Inacua de Malaga and Club nautico de Sevilla won the absolute championship. Churriana won the men’s title and was named runner-up in the women’s.

The loot in the medal section was sixteen. There were seven gold, five bronze, and five silver loots. Carlos Garach, a promising young man, led the team once more. He won the gold poker in all four contested races. 200, 400, 100 and 200 backstroke. Santiago Vilches was his highlight, with a silver medal in the 200 back, bronze 100 back, and bronze 200 free. In the 50 back, he was second in the junior category, and fourth in the senior. Jorge Garcia Pimentel was named Andalusia’s champion in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. In the 50 breaststroke, he was silver while in the 200 styles he finished thirteenth. Jose Carlos Gallardo won bronze in the 50-back.

Gabriela Martin, a woman’s section member, was awarded bronze in the 200 free and 400 free sections. She was also fifth in the 50-free section and sixth in 100 free. Carmen del Aguila got bronze in both the 1500 and 200 back. She was also tenth in 200 free, eighth in 400 styles and tenth overall. Begona Munoz won the junior bronze in 100 back.

CD Universidad de Granada also won 21 medals. It was awarded a fourth place in the junior group, first for women, and tenth overall, as well as a seventh in absolute group, which is fifth for women and tenth overall.

With a quartet of Fernando Nicasio and Jorge Garcia, the men’s 4x100m relay team won silver. They won silver in the 4×200, 4×50, and mixed relay 4×100-free events. Bronze was achieved in the 4×100-free event. .

CN Las Gabias was twenty-seventh after it finished thirty-first overall in the absolute category. It also came in twenty-first overall in the male category, and twenty-first overall in the female category. The Swim Granada finished in thirty-fiveth place in junior after having placed in twenty-nineth in the men’s section.
