Tennis David Goffin (ATP 23) in the first round of the ATP tournament in Rome over Stanislas Wawrinka (ATP 29) fought hard. Our compatriot, lost the first set, but pulled themselves together. In the next round encounter Goffin, the Argentinian Juan Martin del Potro (ATP 9).
A week after his elimination in the first round of the ATP tournament in Madrid, it looked just not good for Goffin. The wedstrijdbegin was in the balance: Wawrinka and Goffin won in turn a point. Halfway through the first set had the match be stopped for a spectator who is unwell. The interruption brought Goffin what out of his rhythm, Wawrinka won the first set with a 4-6, helped by two double faults of our fellow countryman. Goffin was able to this year but one time coming back after the first set lost.
