Vestnorske Nest-Sotra was a difficult start to the season in the Norwegian 1. division, as the home lost 1-2 to Raufoss in a match that will be remembered for a bizarre dommerepisode.

Judge Eivind Bodding handed out in the heat of overtime a yellow card for Raufoss-player Matias Moldskred. It was Moldskreds second in the fight, but it was the Norwegian judge, forgotten, and Matias Moldskred was therefore allowed to play the match to the end.

Eivind Bodding acknowledged after the game the curious forgetfulness of him and the rest of the dommerteamet and laid down flat.

– We had not seen, that we had already given him a yellow card earlier. It is something we must take on us. It is a fault of us, says judge Eivind Bodding to the newspaper.no.

Nor Matias Moldskred discovered that he should have been thrown out. In the episode, where he received his second yellow card, was Nest-Sotras Daniel Arrocha awarded his second warning and had to leave the field. It confused Raufoss-player.

– I perceive, that I do not get any yellow card, and just think that Arrocha got his second yellow. Therefore, he was shown out. I keep not track of who gets the yellow card, said Matias Moldskred after the match.

Nest-Sotras coach Steffen Landro has now posted a complaint on the basis of the peculiar dommerfejl. According to the former Norwegian FIFA referee Svein-Erik Edvartsen to the club from the Skålvik however, don’t count on getting anything out of their complaint, when the incident first occurred in the heat of overtime and thus had minimal influence on the showdown.

the Match featured a danskermål, as the earlier HB Køge and Lyngby player Lee Rochester Sørensen scored the Nest-Sotras single goal.
