Mikaela Shiffrin wrote themselves into history Saturday, as the sovereign skidronning secured his World Cup victory number 50.

The 23-year-old american was victorious in slalomkonkurrencen in the World Cup race in Courchevel, in France, in front of Slovakia’s Petra Vlhová and Swedish Frida Hansdotter.

Shiffrin led the competition after the first pass, and she won with 0,29 seconds down to Vlhová and 0,37 seconds to Hansdotter.
