Frenchman Sami Meguetounif (Trident) won his first success in Formula 3 on Sunday, during the main race of the weekend in Emilia-Romagna, scene of the 3rd round of the season.

Third on the starting grid, the 19-year-old driver won in control ahead of the German Oliver Goethe (Campos Racing) and his teammate at Trident, the Italian Leonardo Fornaroli.

In the general classification, leader Fornaroli (52 points) is three points ahead of his runner-up, the Briton Luke Browning (Hitech Pulse-Eight, 49 pts). Thanks to his victory, Meguetounif (38 pts) moves up to 6th place.

The F3 championship continues from May 23 to 26 in Monaco, 4th round out of 10 this season.
