From the first minute until Jallow’s goal, Fabrice Ondoa was the goalkeeper Cameroon needed. Onana only had to note the XXL performance of his replacement who was preferred at kick-off by Rigobert Song. The Nîmes goalkeeper kept his team alive by making save after save in the first and second half. The coaching paid off and despite the two goals conceded his game remained remarkable.
If we had to choose just one Gambian face, Albie Jallow would be the perfect candidate.
