Surreal scene on the Vuelta. This Wednesday, the Spanish rider Jesus Herrada won the 11th stage of the Tour of Spain after taking the good breakaway between Lerma and La Laguna Negra over 163.2 kilometers. The Cofidis rider won at the top ahead of Frenchman Romain Grégoire (Groupama-FDJ) and Dane Andreas Kron (Lotto Dstny). Just before crossing the line and winning this 11th in the Tour of Spain, a member of the Cofidis team let his joy burst out and celebrate this victory in advance. An attitude that worried one of the members of the Guardia Civil who intervened violently to calm the situation and let the runners cross the finish line quietly.

This Friday, the 12th stage will connect Olvega to Zaragoza after 150.6 kilometers. The profile, which is not very hilly, should allow the sprinters to win, unless a good group of adventurers breaks away from the peloton.
