Cycling: ill, Cosnefroy gives up his place in Turgis for the European Championships

Benoît Cosnefroy, who is suffering from a flu-like illness, is replaced by Anthony Turgis for the road race of the European Road Cycling Championships on Sunday in the Dutch province of Drenthe, we learned from the management of the French team on Thursday.

The AG2R-Citroën rider has caught a virus and will not leave with the rest of the team on Thursday in the Netherlands.
