He is currently in hospital for further examinations.” The 27-year-old rider was preparing for the Tour des Alpes (April 15 to 19).
Good news, his vital prognosis is not compromised. “Lennard is fine, he can move, fortunately his life is not in danger. The accident apparently wasn’t his fault. He would have collided with a car on a bend,” Ralph Denk, boss of the Bora, told the German daily Bild.
