Ousmane Dembélé (PSG striker, after the 1-3 defeat against Toulouse): “The defeat spoils the party a little… And it’s always annoying, even if you are champion, to lose like that in front of your audience, during the last match (of the season at the Parc des Princes). Even if we are champion, we have to question ourselves after this kind of defeat. We must not lose like that at home, once again, even if we are champions. We still have the Cup final (France, May 25 against Lyon), Nice, a big one in the championship, to play (Wednesday in a late match of the 32nd day). Whatever happens, whether it’s a friendly match, a championship match or a Champions League final, we have to give 100% every time and show a good face for PSG.

Mbappé’s last at the Parc des Princes? I spent a season with him at PSG, even though I already knew him from the selection. He gave and did so much for the club, top scorer in (the club’s) history, one of the best French players… We are happy with everything he has done. He grew up well at PSG, he arrived very young and he accomplished so much… He has the merit of being a PSG legend. Afterwards, it’s life, it’s like that, you come, you go to other clubs, you stay at PSG, you decide… But we are happy with everything he has done at PSG, we are proud of him and I hope to rub shoulders with him again in the selection. PSG as strong, or even stronger without him? I hope we will be even stronger. This year, there were 12 or 13 changes at PSG (11 new players last summer, another during the winter transfer window, Editor’s note). We managed to have a good season, in the French championship, we reached the semi-finals of the Champions League. We hope that we will be even stronger because the more the matches progress, the more we know each other. 13 changes is huge! I hope we will be even stronger next year.” (on Canal)
