Anthony Taylor will be the referee for the Champions League semi-final first leg between Borussia Dortmund and PSG on Wednesday (9 p.m.). UEFA made it official on Monday. The Englishman, 45, will be accompanied by Gery Beswick and Adam Nunn.
The Parisians have already crossed paths with the experienced Premier League referee this season. It was at the Parc des Princes, during the quarter-final first leg of C1 PSG-Barcelona. Luis Enrique’s men lost 3-2 before reversing the situation on their return to Barcelona (1-4). Note that the other semi-final, Bayern Munich-Real Madrid (Tuesday 9 p.m.), will be refereed by Frenchman Clément Turpin.
