Will future balls in Europe bring luck to French clubs? This Friday, UEFA announced that Kipsta, the brand specializing in football from the Decathlon group, will be the supplier of balls in the Europa League and Europa Conference League from the 2024-2025 season. The agreement signed for three years completes the scope of the French supplier, whose leathers are already used in Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and Jupiler League (Belgian championship).

“UEFA has announced that Kipsta, the football brand of French sporting goods company Decathlon, has signed a three-year licensing agreement to become the official match ball supplier of the UEFA Europa League and of the UEFA Europa Conference League, from next season until 2027. Designed, tested and created in France, Kipsta official balls meet the highest technical requirements and are FIFA QUALITY PRO certified. The French brand also supplies the official ball of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 in France, as well as the Pro League in Belgium,” UEFA said in a press release. It is now up to the French teams to make good use of it next year.
