The XV of France aimed for a second place in the VI Nations tournament. To do this, they had to win the Crunch against the English, which the Blues did thanks to a final penalty from Thomas Ramos scored one minute from the end of the match. The match can be rewatched by clicking here.

19th (10-3): After a counter from François Cros in touch, the Blues send the play wide where Gaël Fickou finds an interval. 40th (16-10): Served high by George Ford, English center Ollie Lawrence gets the better of Gaël Fickou and goes to flatten between the posts just before the break.

42nd (16-17): Devilish, Ollie Lawrence manages to extend his arm to forcefully flatten on the line. End of the first period and start of the nightmarish second act for the Blues.

46th (16-24): After a one-touch throw, Ben Earl pierces the blue curtain again and then serves on a plateau Marc Smith who resists the return of Léo Barré to flatten.

55th (23-24): After a good sequence of pick-and-go from the forwards, Nolan Le Garrec attacks the advantage line to put his team in the lead before finding Charles Ollivon. The vice-captain of the Blues then serves his back on a plate, who makes the effort to flatten between the posts. Thomas Ramos transforms without problem.

60th (30-24): On the throw into touch, the English jumpers are lobbed and Thomas Ramos continues with his foot. After the fall, Damian Penaud grabbed the ball and found Gaël Fickou despite pressure from Marcus Smith. The Blues center then goes to flatten between the posts! Thomas Ramos transforms once again.

80th (33-31): Facing the poles but 50 meters away, Thomas Ramos shines by scoring the final penalty of the match, a few seconds from the end of the match!
