Scorer in the first leg, Nicolo Barella again opened the scoring for Inter against Benfica on the return leg this Wednesday evening. He was one of the great architects of his team’s qualification for the semi-finals of the Champions League where he will find AC Milan (qualified on Tuesday) for a boiling derby.
In the 13th minute, he feigned the shot from the right and returned to his left foot, sucking in the young Antonio Silva and Chiquinho, to lodge the ball in the right corner of Vlachodimos. Benfica’s Greek goalkeeper couldn’t do anything on Barella’s superb curling shot. His third goal in the competition, his eighth of the season in all competitions.
