This tweet followed another message posted earlier in the day about the sale of the club to Textor, a choice questioned by a Lyon fan. “Yes, I wanted to pass it on to a powerful investor who was going to do everything I had not been able to do since the arrival of the Qataris (at PSG in 2011, editor’s note): invest hundreds of millions in a very big team.
