Hundreds of Paris Saint-Germain supporters, including Ultras, gathered on Wednesday outside the club’s headquarters in Boulogne-Billancourt to express their dissatisfaction with the situation at PSG, AFP noted. “We’re fed up with mercenaries! You have to fire Messi! We must fire Nasser (Al-Khelaifi, the president of the club, editor’s note)”, “Resignation management” or even “Paris is us”, in particular chanted the supporters, three days after Ligue 1: not concerned, the PSG sinks against Lorient, the third of the last four matches played at home.

Some supporters, smoke bombs in hand, specifically cited players like Lionel Messi or Neymar and held up signs calling on players to “wet the shirt” outside the club’s headquarters. “PSG: Who are you? Where are you going ? Can you hear me?” the Ultras also wondered on a banner.

“We are sincerely worried about the future and the sustainability of our club”, indicated in a press release the Collectif Ultras Paris (CUP), wondering “if there is still a pilot on the plane”. According to the CUP, “the athlete is in total drift and this is due in particular to recruitment at a discount and without a global vision of collective needs”.

They criticized the “catastrophic management in recent years which has offered gold bridges to mercenaries, overrated and unconcerned players”. Paris Saint-Germain opened disciplinary proceedings on Tuesday against their Argentine star Lionel Messi, who will be suspended several days after a trip to Saudi Arabia made without the agreement of his club.

The Ultras have also expressed their refusal to leave the Parc des Princes, while the club has positioned itself for a possible takeover of the Stade de France. Monday evening, the day after the new defeat against Lorient at the Parc des Princes (3-1), some supporters had gathered in front of the Camp des Loges training center, with banners like: “No one respects you anymore. Why would we do that?” or “You do not represent our city in any way”.
