As expected in recent days, Chelsea FC left back Ian Maatsen has signed with Borussia Dortmund on loan until the end of the season.
The Dutchman, aged 21, made twelve (small) appearances in the Premier League with the Blues during the first part of the 2023-2024 financial year. “I am very happy that it is now, the loan has worked. I promise that I will give everything for the success of the team and I am really looking forward to the Yellow Wall,” he said after signing his contract.
