Paris SG is (already) preparing for next season. In search of high-level players to strengthen its defensive sector, the club from the French capital has already started discussions with Lucas Hernandez (FC Bayern Munich, 27), reports RMC Sport this Thursday morning. A versatile player, capable of playing in the center – in a four- or five-man defense – as well as on the left side, the 2018 World Champion would be a good pick for the Rouge et Bleu. Especially since his price should be affordable since he only has one year left on his contract and he would have frozen – as Sport1 indicated – the negotiations concerning a possible extension with the Bavarian team.
In addition, Lucas Hernandez, seriously injured in the right knee against Australia (4-1) during the first match of the French team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Lucas Hernandez is on the way to making his comeback. Indeed, after an operation and a long recovery, he returned to collective training at the start of the week. “Positive news from Lucas Hernandez! The centre-back was able to complete part of the team’s training for the first time on Tuesday morning. More recently, Hernandez has been working individually on his comeback, now the next step has followed with the first session with the team,” FC Bayern Munich said last Tuesday.
In addition, as indicated by RMC Sport this Thursday, Paris SG would have reached an agreement with the Uruguayan midfielder of Sporting Lisbon Manuel Ugarte (22 years old). His transfer thus seems to be on the right track, especially since the Ligue 1 leader is ready to lift his release clause, which is estimated at €60m.
