The day after its Cannes stop, where it was entitled to its own “climb of the steps” on the occasion of the 77th Cannes Film Festival, the Olympic flame will resume its journey this Wednesday. On the program, a trip back inland, where we will see it crossing the landscapes of the Dordogne, leaving from Bergerac to arrive in Périgueux.

The sporting world will once again be in the spotlight this Wednesday on the roads of Dordogne. The most famous of the carriers will undoubtedly be Laurent Jalabert, former prolific cyclist (Tour of Spain 1995) converted into a renowned consultant. Alongside her, the flame will also pass into the hands of Gaëlle Mignot, former player now coach of the French women’s rugby XV, and those of Olympic athletes Manon Hostens (kayak), Yohan Durand (long-distance running) and Yoann Kowal ( middle distance).
