Dark day for the French in qualifying at Roland-Garros. Both entered in the third round of “qualifying”, the final step before entering the main draw at Porte d’Auteuil, Quentin Halys and Mathis Bourgue both lost this Friday. The first named, better known to the general public (187th in the world) nevertheless got off to a very good start on the Court Suzanne-Lenglen. This was without counting on the courage of the Austrian Filip Misolic (241st), who overturned everything to win in just over two hours (2-6, 6-4, 6-3).

Later, Bourgue (289th) was no match for the Belgian Zizou Bergs, seeded number 8 in the qualifying table (102nd), winner in two sets (6-2, 7-6), after having already dismissed another tricolor Clément Chidekh (280th) in the first round.
