Two tries, 24 points, Jonathan Sexton, the captain of the XV of Ireland was delighted in a press conference after the wide success 82-8 this Saturday, against Romania in Bordeaux:: “I had been waiting for this moment for six months so I am delighted to have played a few tens of minutes. As I said last week, a game is different from training, in terms of pressure and intensity. I needed a match to test myself. There are a lot of good things, and a lot of others to improve both individually and collectively. I hope I can improve my performance against Tonga. It will be a much bigger challenge next week, no disrespect to Romania, so there will be things to improve but I’m happy with the five points we took and the gap to the score”.
