Direct consequence, a spin while T6 was launched at full speed. More fear than harm for the crew, since no injuries were reported.
Following this incident, and this extreme load imposed on the rudder, the boat suffered significant damage to the stern and will therefore be unavailable for the next regattas in Jeddah. Consequently, it is the reserve AC40 which will be used by the British team. Waiting to repair T6 and understand what happened to the control systems.
