The match on the 29th day of the Italian Championship between Atalanta Bergamo and Fiorentina, postponed from March, will take place on June 2, after the last day of the season, Serie A announced on Friday.

The rescheduling of this match has been a headache, with both teams qualified for the Europa League (Atalanta) and Europa Conference League (Fiorentina) finals which will be played on May 22 and 29 respectively.

Atalanta is also due to play the Italian Cup final against Juventus Turin on Wednesday. The last day of Serie A, May 26, could therefore not decide the places in the Champions League.

Atalanta is currently in 5th place (60 pts) and last direct qualifier for the C1 but is tied with AS Roma, with a favorable goal difference and one more match to play. The two clubs meet on Sunday for the 36th day.
