Frenchwoman Romane Ménager, 27, was nominated for the title of best player of the 2024 Six Nations Tournament. Determinant in the second place of the Bleues, the third row of Montpellier notably scored a try against Wales and achieved many races with ball in hand.
But to succeed the Habs Gabrielle Vernier, who was voted best player in 2023 after scoring five tries, the competition will be tough. English back Ellie Kildunne, titled with the XV de la Rose, is the favorite with her nine tries. The others nominated are the Irish Aoife Wafer and the Italian Alyssa D’Inca. Voting is open to the public until May 7 on the Six Nations website.
