Talking about high-end audio companies is talking about companies like Sonos. The American company has long made a name for itself with its speakers and sound bars as one of the companies preferred by lovers of quality sound but, until now, it did not have headphones.

Today, the American firm has announced the Sonos Ace, high-end headphones that boast a very careful design, good audio quality, a lot of autonomy and excellent sound cancellation.

The audience that Sonos is targeting with this launch is clear, being people looking for high-end equipment at a price slightly higher than other options on the market, and with Sony and its WH1000XM5 as a great competitor.

The debut of the brand in headphones was a rumor that had been circulating for years, so its launch was highly anticipated by the firm’s followers.

Specifically, the new Sonos Ace, which arrive in ivory white and black, stand out in the sound, noise cancellation, design and autonomy sections.

In terms of sound, the Sonos Ace features a custom-designed driver in each earbud that reproduces frequencies with great precision. Sonos intelligent motion processing with Dolby Head Tracking dynamically adjusts sound as your head moves for a hyper-realistic listening experience, so-called spatial audio.

Likewise, they boast comfort and design. The new Ace weighs just over 300 grams and has a hingeless headband, which evenly distributes the weight without getting caught in the hair. For their part, the memory foam pads wrapped in vegan leather perfectly seal the ear without pressure.

The noise cancellation is active, and you can choose between ANC and conscious mode, to listen to outside sounds, simply by pressing a button. With ANC, the microphones actively detect and counteract external sounds for more intimately immersive listening.

In addition, they have an autonomy of up to 30 hours with active noise cancellation. Ultra-fast charging enables up to 3 hours of battery life with a 3-minute quick charge using the included USB-C cable.

To improve the audio experience when watching a movie, Sonos has implemented a specific function, TrueCinema, for users who have a sound bar from the firm. The company allows you to transfer TV sound from a Sonos sound bar to headphones with the push of a button. Dolby Atmos spatial audio coupled with dynamic head tracking creates an immersive and realistic experience.

The new Sonos Ace headphones will be available on June 5 for 499 euros.
