The eldest of the siblings, Alexis (19) won (4-1) against the favorite of the tournament and current European champion, the German Qiu Dang (9th player in the world), during an offensive meeting and tight.

“I tried to hold on, to make life difficult for him and to take risks. There is still a match for the medal,” said Alexis, recent winner of Chinese Olympic vice-champion Fan Zhendong at a tournament in Macau.

In the afternoon, it was the turn of Félix (16) to beat the Romanian Andrei Eduard Inoescu (4-2). Alexis Lebrun (18th player in the world) will face the Portuguese Marcos Sousa on Tuesday (12:40 p.m. French), while Félix will be opposed (1:30 p.m.) to the winner of the duel between the Croatian Andrej Gacina and the Austrian Daniel Habesohn.
