Surprise in the first round of the Wimbledon men’s doubles tournament: the two Frenchmen Lucas Van Assche and Arthur Fils surprised the world number 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas and his brother Petros. The French won in 3 sets, 7-6, 6-4, 6-2.
Stefanos Tsitsipas, still in contention in the tournament, will have his longest rest period since the start of the fortnight: the Greek has played every day of the week. On Monday, he will face American Christopher Eubanks. The schedule is still to be determined. The two French will play again today, against Granollers and Zeballos.
