Dupont and Ntamack surf on a “piece of wood”. A rather peculiar piece of wood, referring to the name that rugby players affectionately attribute to the Shield of Brennus. We can say that the Toulousains continue to ride on their victory against La Rochelle last Saturday at the Stade de France (29-26).
It’s an image that we are used to seeing after the Top 14 season when a team wins the title. Antoine Dupont and Romain Ntamack, the latter being the hero of the final, continued the celebrations after the 22nd title of champion of France gleaned by Toulouse.
The two players from the French team simply surfed a few waves with a historic board, the Bouclier de Brennus.
