The future player of Racing 92 had to give way to Santiago Medrano in the second half. “He has an ankle that has turned a little, we didn’t want to take any risks,” explained Lyon manager Fabien Gengenbacher to L’Équipe. Demba Bamba is one of 12 reservists and could join the group of 33 players for the World Cup (September 8-October 28), if one of the three right pillars retained (Dorian Aldegheri, Uini Atonio, Sipili Falatea) were to be injured.
