A time trial that brought many answers… and tainted the suspense. Only 22.4 kilometers separated Passy from Combloux. It was enough for Jonas Vingegaard to hit hard and knock out this Tour de France 2023.

From the first pedal strokes, the overall leader impressed and never let up on his lead. He won with 1 minute and 38 seconds ahead of Tadej Pogacar, also author of a stratospheric time. Third, Wout van Aert is relegated to almost three minutes behind his leader. “I am the best of normal people,” joked the Belgian champion in the specialty.
