Still just as impressive, the leader of this Tour de France 2023 took advantage of the failure of Tadej Pogacar. The Slovenian cracked 15km from the finish, finishing almost six minutes behind his rival. Present in numbers in the breakaway, the French have never played for the stage victory. Best tricolor of the day, David Gaudu finished fifth.
