Italian Filippo Ganna won the 4th stage of the Tour de Wallonie on Tuesday, a time trial contested around Mons over a 32km course, and regained the lead in the general classification.
Filippo Ganna won the first stage and took the leader’s jersey, which he then gave up to Arnaud De Lie then to Timo Kielich.
The Italian exercise champion had to battle with his teammate at Ineos Joshua Tarlin but finally set the fastest time, 8 seconds ahead of the British time trial champion.
The podium of this time trial is made up of 100% riders from the Ineos-Grenadiers formation, Connor Swift taking third place 30 seconds behind Ganna.
