Primoz Roglic won the 17th stage of the Tour of Spain on Wednesday at the top of the formidable Angliru, one of the most difficult passes in the world, where the Jumbo-Visma team signed a new hat-trick.

As at the Tourmalet last Friday, the Dutch team has once again taken control of a stage of the Vuelta which it dominates head and shoulders.

Roglic won just ahead of Jonas Vingegaard. Sepp Kuss crossed the line 19 seconds later and narrowly retained his red leader’s jersey in the fog of the “monster of Asturias”.

In the general classification, four days from the finish, Kuss is only eight seconds ahead of Vingegaard and 1:08. on Roglic. The three men can believe more than ever in an unprecedented hat-trick in a Grand Tour on Sunday after the last stage in Madrid.
