XV of France: roof closed in Cardiff against Wales

For four years, the Blues have faced the Leek XV twice at the Millennium, for two successes: 27-23 in 2020 and 13-9 in 2022. Each time with a closed roof. France has already played a match in an indoor stadium in the 2024 Tournament, a fortnight ago, against Italy (13-13) in Lille.

After starting the 2024 Tournament with a heavy setback against Ireland (38-17), the Blues followed up with a happy victory in Scotland (20-16) then a pitiful draw against Italy. Faced with a rejuvenated Leek XV, Galthié’s men will be keen to raise their heads in Cardiff, where they remain on two consecutive victories.
