TBILISI – Three Spanish tourists were killed in Georgia, due to an avalanche. They have announced the representatives of the public company Georgian, that deals with tourism and winter sports. At the beginning it was thought that the three victims were Italian but came the denial of the foreign ministry: “there are italians involved”.

According to data in the possession of the authorities of the city of Mestia, the group of skiers was in a forbidden area on the top of Tetnuld, where there were signs which warned also of the danger of avalanches.

Under the avalanche are over six people, two of which were recovered by rescuers unharmed, another has reported multiple fractures and the other three have been discovered “already dead”, they reported to the authorities. Two weeks ago, in the same area, it was dead a tourist Ukrainian always due to an avalanche.
