Yunior Garcia Aguilera, a prominent Cuban dissident, will be visiting Granada on Wednesday, July 6 to talk about human rights in Cuba. MauerFest organizes the activity, which marks 10 years of ‘Encounters In Freedom’, an epicenter of reflection.

Garcia Aguilera was the organizer of the Civic March for Change. This march was organized to promote peace and advocate for peaceful and democratic solutions to conflicts between Cubans with different ideologies. He had to leave Cuba for Spain the following day.

Those who are interested in learning more about the life of this activist can attend the Illustrious Bar Association of Granada for free and until the full capacity is reached on Wednesday, July 6, at 7:30 p.m.

MauerFest was founded in October 2011, when the group started its journey under Fomag. The goal of the group is to organize debates on culture and politics.
