Festival of the Performing Arts of Andalusia is the summer program of the Ministry of Culture and Historical Heritage, managed by the Andalusian Agency of Cultural Institutions. It kicks off at the Alcazaba of Almeria. Today, ‘Las Migas’ will perform live to introduce their new album titled ‘Libres’.

There are few groups in the music industry that value the virtues of women as much as this group of four women, who have been demonstrating their courage and joy on national and international stages for over eighteen years.

After a long tour across Europe, Latin America and the United States, ‘Las Migas’ are back stronger than ever to release their new album, ‘Libres. Marta Robles produced it, her most bright, happy, and riskiest proposal. Marta Robles debuts this new facet. Marta Robles shows the most heartbreaking sides of love and life. It’s a tribute to women, nature, and freedom. These themes are inspired by American pop, country and urban music. They also have a nod to Spanish music which gives them their unique character and stamp.

Carolina la Chispa dancing, her new voices, a lot freshness, and new sounds make ‘Las Migas’ a party.

Tomorrow, PanPan Teatro will perform in the La Alcazaba ‘Anfitrion’program with ‘El Amo’. This moving story, sprinkled with humor, is about love and the dangers that it exposes us.

PanPan Teatro was inspired by the work of Familie Floz and Kulunka. The company explains that the expressive mask is a way to promote their work. It offers them a language that transcends words, that can be deeply moved through gesture. They explain that the characters don’t speak out of necessity, but because they are unable to.

PanPan was created from the collaboration between Marta Pajuelo, Pablo Canela and Pablo Canela. After several years of exploring various languages including textual theatre, street theater and puppets they now explore the expressive mask. Through the mask they seek an original medium that allows for stories to be told that stem from current social issues. This, in turn, encourages reflection and excites and entertains the audience.

Throughout the month of July and August, ‘Host” will be held in the heritage spaces of Italica and Seville, Baelo Claudia and Alcazaba (Almeria), Alcala La Real and Fuengirola.
