Istobal, a company specialized in car wash and care solutions, grows by 13.4% in 2021 and recovers pre-pandemic billing levels, reaching a turnover of 145.7 million euros. In addition, the company has registered an ebitda of 14.4 million, which represents 61.2% compared to the previous year.
In 2021, the company internationalized 75% of its production. France, Italy, USA, UK and Denmark, in that order, are its main export markets. The Valencian company highlights Israel’s entry into the top 10 key markets for the company.
Among its foreign subsidiaries, the growth in turnover in the United States stands out, with increases of over 43% in turnover, followed by Brazil, which has registered 33% more sales in 2021. In reference to European markets, the growth of over 20% in its subsidiaries in Italy, Sweden and Austria stands out.
By product divisions, the car wash bridges continue to lead Istobal’s sales in 2021. On the other hand, the lines that have experienced the greatest growth have been: the connectivity division, which is 41% higher than the data for the previous year , as well as those related to water treatment, washing centers and industrial vehicles, with increases of around 20% compared to 2020, the company explains in a statement.
With ten subsidiaries and four manufacturing plants in Europe, America and Asia, Istobal assures that this year it will boost its growth in key geographic markets such as the United States and China, among others.
The recent entry of Herrecha in its capital (the company of Hortensia Herrero, vice president of Mercadona) will help boost its growth, he points out.
