Yes, absolutely. We are following the events in Hong Kong. In Hong Kong the company adapt to the constantly changing Situation, where some industries are hit harder than others. This is also true for the art world.

The international Zurich-based gallery Hauser and Wirth was planning an exhibition in Hong Kong, with Annie Leibovitz, she has now moved due to the demonstrations in the city. You think this was a good decision?

Since our show takes place in Miami Beach, is this fair from an organizational point of view, “business as usual”. However, we are living in turbulent times, and the shows, of course, on our exhibition, artists address the world in which we live. These topics we will cover in our Talks Program. In Miami Beach, for example, we organize a lecture on the topic of “The Global Art Market in a Nationalist World”.

Yes. If we look at the works coming to Miami Beach, we have, for example, Pippy Houldsworth Gallery from London, the historic and political works of the well-known American artist Faith Ringgold show. The Works deal with various aspects of American politics and history – seen through a very personal perspective of self-portraits. The gallery Walden from Buenos Aires reactivated the Installation of the “Violencia” of Juan Carlos Romero’s, which deals with the discourse of the mass media and their representations of violence. Romero’s Installation calls the viewer to Action, and calls on him to face the mechanisms of violence and their hidden or subtle manifestations and thinking about it.
