Royalty Malaysia will have this month a successor for the sultan Muhammad V of Kelantan. That has the palace in Kuala Lumpur announced after a meeting between the different sultans. Sunday it became known that Muhammad resigns. On 24 January a new head of state appointed and on 31 January, the new sultan the oath.
Muhammad V is the first head of state of Malaysia that threw in the since the country in 1957, became independent of the British. The dismissal came as a surprise, but there has been over speculated. So was he since early november on sick leave. Later rumours about his marriage with the Russian clean Oksana Voevodina, a former Miss Moscow. the
The 49-year-old Muhammad would be at the end of november with the 25-year-old Voevodina married, who had previously converted to islam. That news, however, is not yet officially confirmed.
