Trine Troelsen is on the way to its last halvsæson as a professional handball player.
The 33-year-old bagspiller has chosen to set his career when this season is over.
It writes the Herning-Ikast Handball, Troelsens employer, in a press release.
– It feels like the right time for me. I have been in håndboldmiljøet for many years, has achieved a lot both with club teams and national teams and scored a lot of amazing experiences with many talented and wonderful people, says Trine Troelsen in the press release.
She is right now underway with its seventh season in the middle of jutland. The first five were from 2009 to 2014. Back then the team was called FC Midtjylland.
In 2017 she returned to FC Midtjylland, who before the current season, changed its name to the Herning-Ikast Handball.
Trine Troelsens professional career began in Viborg HK in 2003 and has also brought on a stay in SK Aarhus, French Toulon and Silkeborg-Voel KFUM.
In 2006, she received the debut for the Danish national team, where it has been for 132 performances, 340 goals and participated at the european championships, WORLD championships and OLYMPIC games.
